We got ewan along with the portable device, we as parents of a little boy think its absolutely wonderful, we love it! Little one sleeps so much better.
Baby settles brilliantly and so quickly when Ewan is playing the womb and white noise sounds it’s a cute cuddly toy too he enjoys cuddling and playing with really does make a huge difference to an easier bedtime :)

Still in its box so I can’t comment on the sounds etc but if the videos of it are true it will be wonderful for both my Daughter and her Baby when he/she arrives
Upgraded to the rechargeable version for our newborn. It’s great to have to ability to play for longer than 20mins, this would sometimes wake our daughter with the old one so we have this Ewan set to play for 80 minutes which has been working treat with little man. Early days but he’s sleeping, fingers crossed it keeps up
So impressed with this, use it every night without fail with a wee cry sensor and our newborn loves it buys a few extra minutes of sleep for us which is precious - light setting is great as a night light also.
We’ve had Ewan for both our kids now, has been the one thing that helped them both sleep. Would recommend the rain & heartbeat sounds - we actually missed this sound when our daughter moved into her own room, glad to have it back now with our newborn! Use Ewan in your routine every night with baby and it will work a treat, we recommend it to all our friends and not heard a bad report from anyone

I have one since my little boy was born, and I used it everyday to help him sleep and also help get through some night terrors (the shhh one he loves the best).
I was devastated when it wasn't working correctly. The sounds was soo quiet and new batteries weren't working. So I sent an email to them and see what they can do. They went over and beyond with getting a new one to me!

Great product and great friendly staff
Super cute and love the different sound options, I set ours to the womb one and when it was playing my partner actually said ‘that reminds me of the hospital when you were hooked up to the machine for them to monitor his heartbeat’ .. I also love the dim red light it’s very soothing for the baby during the night.
We love Euan, we play it every night for our son 🥰 the only thing that would make this 5 star is if there was also a wee dufer/remote contro that you could use to put it on. So many times over wanted to click it back on when nursing as my baby is falling asleep but don't want to move and wake him. It would be ideal to have a little remote control but otherwise I love this product! Used it since he was born 😍
Love this product. Using it it with my 5 days old newborn since day one and he’s obsessed with it. It relaxes him immediately and make he go to sleep anytime. Really recommended!

Only criticism is that he eats through batteries duracell last the longest but of course are the most expensive. Should be USB charging. Shame by the time they change this I'll have spent my life savings on batteries haha!

Regarding the batteries; as ewan is a high power product 1.5V Alkaline batteries are certainly a good option, which I think you are using from what you have said.
It is important to ensure the cry sensor is off in the morning to conserve power too.
As a suggestion; investing in Rechargeable batteries (MAH-Unit 600-2850) for use in the ewan Deluxe (with two sets to rotate for convenience), would certainly be cost effective over the lifetime of ewan and also more environmentally friendly.
