Mount Kilimanjaro Charity Climb

In June 2017, two of my sons, George and Bernie, set off to climb Mount Kilimanjaro—5,895m (19,341 ft) above sea level. We’re from Portsmouth, which sits at less than 3 meters (9.8 ft) above sea level, so this was no small feat! Here’s a short video of their incredible journey. Unfortunately, all of their other video diaries were lost due to a technical issue, but this one survived. We raised just over $3,200 for Alzheimer's research, a cause close to our hearts, as both of my parents (their grandparents) were diagnosed with the condition shortly before. George and Bernie want to extend a huge thank you to all of their guides and the amazing friends they made along the way.
